I was wishing that they were a little more durable looking. It was hard to tell by the picture. They were for my husband and son. My son says that they are okay, and my husband does not normally wear sandals. He has some foot issues, and we were hoping that these would help. We need more time to evaluate.

Needed to replace my old Tevas. Couldn't remember the size so I ordered 11s, as I wear 11 1/2 sneakers. the 11s were too big, had to return them for 10s, which are just fine. These are more comfortable than the old model.

I've worn Teva sandals for years and love their versatility. I wear them for hikes in the woods, walking the dog, even snorkeling. My husband was reluctant to switch from another brand of sandal, until I bought him a pair of Tevas as a gift. Shoebuy offers the best price I could find (I bought a clearance style), and shipping was faster than I expected. He was surprised he didn't need to break them in, and he's now a Teva convert.

Bought these to replace some leather sandals that started to hold a smell. These solve all the problems I had with the leather. Microban treated rubber and nylon/synthetic straps mean I can walk in the mud, the rain, the dirt, the sand, etc. and never have to worry about damaging them or having them be "uncleanable" like the leather. Only thing is, the black-on-black tends to heat up if you stand in the sun for too long, but I try to avoid that anyway! Great sandal, great price, very comfortable, and should last for years.

I don't understand most of what Teva is making these days (turning their trademark sandals to shoes, with tiny orifices open to to the world for air). However, these are the real deal. Teva's like you remember them, only a little lighter, and a little more form fitted. After about 30 minutes with them on, they felt as comfortable as the pair I had been wearing for the past 4 years. Great shoe.. and Teva, don't change too much!
Wears this shoe: from 6 am to 11 pm (Spring through Fall).
