Product Description (Men's Teva Fossil Canyon)
The Fossil Canyon is a great sandal from dawn to dusk, both rugged for the river and stylish enough for the streets.
This sandal is water resistant with a full-grain leather upper and a Moisture-wicking microfiber topsole. Features an anatomically-shaped, molded EVA footbed, a Microfiber footbed cover with ALF anti-bacterial treatment and an encapsulated Shoc Pad™.
Non-marking, Traction Rubber® outsole.

Pretty good sandal

I wanted something quick to slip on and a sandal for walking as close to barefoot as possible while protecting my feet from rough terrain.These are pretty good: Likes: 1.) good looking.2.) Velcro straps - easy cinching.3.) soles are nicely contoured.4.) quality construction.5.) Good stability; I ride my bike in these and no problems. They stay on my feet.Dislikes: 1.) they aren't as quick to get on and off as I would have liked; you have to loosen the main strap, get your foot in and then clasp it back.2.) while they ARE comfortable to walk in, they aren't comfortable to have on your feet when you are seated at rest. A bit irritating when your feet are bare.3.) not waterproof.This may be just be qualities of sandals, in general - I don't know.

I purchased 2 pairs of this sandal.(Actually, 3 pairs, having returned the first pair because the front straps were too short, of a size 7.)I then ordered size 71/2, which I have worn a few weeks. They were quite comfortable, so I ordered a second pair. I then realized two features which I did not like: the foot bed was too hot, if I was doing any amount of walking. The other was the smell of the foot bed, after wearing them for a while. I have worn them without socks, but this (smell) has not occurred with any other sandals I have had past and present. I have another pair of Teva's which have a rubber foot bed, and there is no foul smell. I have returned the second pair of the Teva Fossil (unworn). Thank you for the wonderful service.

These shoes finally fit my husband after trying and returning many sandals. These sandals fit nicely with no extra space at the toe. They are minimalist and light. These are great sandals.

I have a very hard time finding good fitting shoes and sandals.Other, more sophisticated sandals, including Tevas, would have supports or other "useful features" that generated painful pressure points with extended wear.The Fossil Canyons are comfortable with ample adjustments.A basic go anywhere, good looking sandal.
Wears this shoe: I wear my Tevas on walks, shopping, in the water, and for lounging around.
