The men's Cardenas Fisherman takes the traditional fisherman to new heights with an adjustable instep strap and a waterproof leather upper to charge through those puddles in style and unparalleled comfort. This sandal is water resistant, and has a full-grain leather upper. Features a moisture-wicking microfiber topsole an anatomically-shaped, molded EVA footbed, microfiber footbed cover with ALF anti-bacterial treatment and an encapsulated Shoc Pad™. Non-marking, Traction Rubber® outsole.

I bought these at a sale price and really wanted to keep them. They are very well made and look great. Alas, I did not keep them because the arch support was minimal unlike some of the other Teva shoes like the Sear eVents which have have excellent insole support.

I am aware that shoe sizing can vary between manufacturers. Because of that, I was concerned that the size I had nominated based on the fitting chart might not be of the correct size as this was my first order for the Teva shoes. However, I need not have worried. The shoe fitted like a glove. As such, they are very comfortable to wear, a very important factor as they were to be my everyday shoes.Because of this experience, I am now confident that I can rely on the fitting chart for future orders, at least for shoes of the same make.

I am sitting here wearing my old Cardenas which I have worn almost everyday since I bought them in Singapore 2 years ago! The heels had worn down hence the replacement. I have had to scrub the bases each week to stop them smelling in the past year (downside of sockless sandal wearing) but I wear these to the office, trekking and last week through flooded Jakarta streets - all good. You won't regret getting these quality shoes. You can trust Tevas!
