I got this shoe for an outside wedding because of the wedge design with the gripping bottom. It worked out for me perfectly! No slipping in the grass or having heels sink into the dirt. Super comfortable and really cute. Thumbs up.

The height of the heel on this shoe is not 2-1/2".At its highest point it is 2-1/4".This height makes a good walking shoe. I have a wide foot, and this shoe fits the width well. You do not have to break in an unstructured shoe.

This shoe is beautiful! Only problem is that, for us, it ran a full 1/2 size to big. (Did fit sole of foot but the straps over the top of the shoe were very loose. Purchase a 1/2 size smaller and the sole still fit and the top was snug) The sizing is a bit weird.
