The Ecco Yukatan is the most comfortable shoe I have had on in years. I have two pair and want to get a black pair soon. I wear them every day. Great for walking. I have hard to fit feet and most shoes are uncomfortable. These are wonderful.

Hush Puppies Energy All the cushion is in the heel

I bought these because I am on my feet all the time and being a big guy I need a good shoe. The gel heel is what attracted me, but it seems like they forgot to put any other cushion in the shoe. The heel feels fine other than the noticible difference in texture where the gel is. Its the fore foot where I am having problems. It doesn't feel like there is any cushion at all. After twelve hours in these shoes the ball of my foot is killing me. This shoe might be okay if you don't have to walk a lot, but if you do you will notice the lack of cushion. I haven't had any other problems with the shoe, but obviously for me this is a deal breaker.
