I bought these shorts as a Christmas gift for my Dad and it was one of the best purchases I have made. He loved the deep pockets and the variety of pockets on them. They were comfortable and not bulky or intrusive. If you know a guy who loves pockets or room to carry (from pens to guns/ammo), then these Tactical Shorts are perfect choice. The little elastic on the sides of waist give the right amount of room to breathe or carry concealed.

I purchased these pants for my fiance to use at the shooting range and they arrived very quickly.He is 5'6" and usually wears a 29-30 in length. Although I ordered these pants in short, he will still have to have these pants hemmed 2 inches. Otherwise the quality of them are great and he wants another pair.

Like another pair of shorts I purchased online, I didn't get to try these on before ordering but these worked out much better than the other ones I got. There's a snap button to close the front and there are ties instead of one giant button to tighten the waist - love it! I don't need a belt thanks to those ties and I can make the waist as snug as I need to. The pockets are not too small or too big on the back or the front. The only downer is that one of the buttons on a side pocket broke in half while I washed them. Luckily it came with a spare button.

Purchased two pair of the 5.11 Tactical Pro Pants. They fit well, lots of pockets well positioned to get items you need. Going to the gun range it is great to be able to carry goggles, hearing protection, 4 magazines, a 5 inch knife and a small towel. Wash and ware and look nice. They get softer with more washes. Waist band gives with movement but does not slide down with additional gear attached. I am a 36 inseam but you can only get in a 36 waist. They are a relaxed fit without being baggy.
