| | About Moosehide: |
|---|
| | | Moosehide is a type of leather made from the skin of a moose. With a hide thicker and more durable than deerskin, moosehide is generally the preferred choice of leather in moccasin construction due to its durability and soft and supple texture that requires no break-in. Moosehide is also used in the manufacturing of outdoor casual leather apparel. |

Minnetonka Moose Weekend Moc
Truely Comfortable

I bought these because, while not made in USA, they are made in the western hemisphere Dominican Republic. I will NOT buy shoes of any sort made in Communist China as most shoes are today. I wear a 12W in most shoes so the 13 is just right. Love the non-slip treads and the soft comfortable leathar.

Really soft shoes that make you feel that you are walking on air. Combined with a nice fit and good looks made the purchase well worth it.

Attention! If you are looking for moccasins, buy these!!!!!

I am about about to buy my third pair. I bought my first pair about 10 years ago and I still wear both of them. After many years, they get worn, but never die, or maybe I just love them so much. These are my favorite shoes I own. If you are going to buy moccasins, get the Moosehide!!!! I know it costs a little bit more, but IT IS WORTH IT. I was a freshman in college when I got my first pair; I walked all over campus, in the rain, snow, on the sticky floor bars for 5 years, and they look pretty rough today, but I can still wear them... I just can't throw them away. Please buy a pair of these - I reccomend getting a half size smaller because the leather will stretch a little as you wear them.
