As the other reviewer noted, the straps are NOT adjustable. There is extra room around the ankle (I'd say I have normal ankles). They also look pretty clunky- I mean I was expecting chunky because it's a flatform, but they look big. I got in black and white, and I'm definitely returning the white (cheap looking), and I'm not sure about the black.

I had a pair in the 70's and I wore them everyday for years. Was excited to see them available again. However; the sizing is weird because of no half sizes. I wear a 7, while it was right in length, but much too big in the straps everywhere. So I ended up with a 6, and my big toe is a little too close to the edge of the sandal. I think it may look like it is too small, but it feels good and after a bit of stretching, I'm hoping they will be better. I don't want to wear them out of the house, in case I may return them. I really believe half sizes is the answer to offering a more custom fit. The leather squeaks quite a bit, Will that get better as the leather softens? Time will tell.
Wears this shoe: Am planning on wearing with jeans and shorts or long skirts

Love love love this shoe, sooooo comfortable, nice fit. Had seen them on a store rack and regret not buying then, so was happy to get them from Shoebuy. Have always worn another brand as my base shoe the comfort is equal to them with greater style.
Wears this shoe: Day and night, they go with most clothing styles.
