I bought the slip-on duck shoes to go out and work in the yard, to get produce and herbs for the kitchen, go to the mailbox etc. The shoes are waterproof and perfect for that job. I like the slip-on convenience and the removable insole. They also feel very comfortable. However, I found them to be extremely big. I normally wear size 9 1/2 and I ordered 9. They are so big that I cut soles from 1/2" carpet padding, put them under the removable soles and still have more room than I need.

I was sent one size back for next smaller size and still too big. I kept them though because I needed something to wear around damp yard but they are not snug. They do keep my feet dry but the shoelaces are very long and have to be tied several times to keep them off of the ground.

I had read previous reviews that said this shoe ran bigger than marked. I usually wear a size 7.5 so I ordered a size 7. It was way too big. Returned the shoe and ordered a size 6. The fit is much better.

I bought the slip on duck shoe to walk my dog in the wet months of the year. They are really nice and comfortable. I do feel they run at least a half size bigger then my regular shoe size. Also I normally wear a wider shoe but I found these seem to run wider than marked. They leave room for a thick sock. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I needed a waterproof shoe for walking the dog in wet grass, and this shoe is perfect for the task. The fit was described as roomy, and I did buy smaller, but not enough smaller. (I usually wear a 7 1/2 D, so I bought a 7. I could have used a 6, I think. The fit seems more like a man's size.) Thus, the fit is that of very loose slippers.
Wears this shoe: Casual wear for wet weather.
