The problem is the area where the foot section is attached to the ankle portion, there is a seam connecting the two. That is very irritating even with thick socks on. I had to send them back but otherwise they would have been great.

My Papa wanted boots that he didn't have to lace up and couldn't find anything locally. Since he's 80 and walks 3 1/2 miles per day, even in snow and ice, I wanted him to have boots that were light, comfortable and gave him good traction. He says these boots are the best he's ever owned. They keep his feet warm and dry and are comfortable to walk in and have great traction. I'm glad I gave it a try.

I like this boot for a quick trip to the paperbox or the garage. If I am going to be outside for a prolonged period of time my feet get cold (but my ankles stay warm).

Bought these for my husband. He loves them. He needed something he could easily pull on and off while standing, walk dogs, shovel snow, but not a big heavy, lots of lacing type boot. This is perfect! size and shoe itself were exactly as described.This is a great value. Also, leather uppers were very supple-not stiff or new feeling-almost as if someone broke them in already.
