A traditional duck boot. The rich, dark brown color looks good and hides dirt & mud stains and other wear & tear. Rubber sole and parial rubber upper keeps out snow, slush, and water. The boot is well-insulated but a bit too roomy, even with a thick pair of socks and after pulling the laces as tight as possible. Better than too tight, I suppose. The insole, though made of a warm, shearling type material, feels a bit thin and flimsy and lacks cushioning. A padded insole insert might improve this. For a very reasonable price, a classic, functional boot that will keep your feet warm and dry.
