I had been considering a pair of sneakers to wear on the weekends with shorts or with khakis. My major concern was whether I would be able to comfortably wear the shoes without socks for more than, let's say, a week. The fact that I can throw these shoes in the wash was a huge selling point for me. The GQ write-up caught my eye. I'd never heard of Superga before. I have been very pleased with them.Regarding the size and fit of the shoe, I wear a US Mens 10.5 medium width shoe. I ordered a size 44 and I am pleased with the fit. I noted that the shoe feels a half size larger than listed because the 44 equivalent is a US 10. I wear a 10.5 and they are pretty comfortable. I hope that helps. I recommend these shoes highly.

Since white isn't currently available in my size I was concerned that the Ecru color would be too yellow. I was very pleased as they're a very pale yellow and go great with khaki pants/shorts and even plaid.

The thing about this shoe is that it's so trendy and goes with everything...slim jeans, khakis, shorts...anything, even your dress pants. It's comfy and stylish. I saw this sneakers on a magazine and guys and girls on the streets of Manhattan wearing it. So cool. Size wise, you have to get a smaller size. like me, I usually wear 8 1/2, I have to get size 41(Euro) which is 7 in mens (US). They ran pretty long. Not true to size. I had to make an exchange which is a hassle for me but hey, I like the shoe and i wanted it so bad.I love it. Got get yourself a pair and get into the groove!
