Since the shoes are to narrow my son cannot wear them and I will return them. I did order a second pair in a 1/2 sz larger

Stride Rite shoes fit my son beautifully and are very durable. My son is only a toddler (2 1/2 year old), and they last for months. I don't think I'll ever switch to a different brand shoe.
Wears this shoe: Twice a week, and special occasions - which is often!!

Likes - Style, Fit, Price, QualityDislikes - NoneI looked around everywhere for a black shoe to fit my 9 year old boy who measures 6 1/2W. This shoe was perfect! Knowing Stride Rite Shoes run wide I ordered a 6 Medium. It was perfect! My son loves these shoes. He says they are very comfortable.

This is the second year that I have purchased Windsors for my four boys. I love the Stride Rite quality and have found the shoes to be a perfect balance between fulfilling their private school requirement of "a non-marking dress shoe" and providing the support and traction they need when playing at recess. Also, the fact that they come in extra wide is really great for two of my guys. Finally, the kids like them because they look "cool" and don't feel as clunky or heavy as other brands.
