Although this shoe is very cute and comfortable, the velcro closing did not last very long. My daughter was able to wear it for about 4-5 weeks before it wouldn't hold anymore, a problem we didn't have with the other Stride Rite shoes.

My daughter who will only wear pink, tried these shoes on in the store (in brown because they had sold out of the pink). I told her if they fit, I would find them online in pink. They fit and I found and bought these. She is very happy in them and does a lot of running (on the track) with her older brothers in them. They are great.

I bought these so that my 5 year old could get in and out of them easily - even at school should she need to. They look cute and fit really well. My one, small issue is that the sole looks significantly larger in the picture than it really is. The sneaker is less chunky and more streamlined than it appears.
