Like everything about the shoe; true to size and color. Works great for casual and dress wear. Laces and leather have held up well...double tie laces because son does tend to pull on them. Polished toe area once since purchase due to toddler wear and tear. Definite "yes" on this shoe!

I can't write much as my son hasn't worn them much. We are saving them for special days. They look nice and seem to fit very well and are rugged despite the casual appearance. I agree with a previous review that they could be a little more pliable, but my son doesn't seem to mind so far.

This is one of the only boys shoes that come in XW. It is really cute in person and looks great with kakis or even with my son's navy eaton suit. They are very well made and have rugged enough soles that they are safe and practicle for a little boy. Still, they are wonderful shoes for Sundays and holidays.
