I like the shoe however the stitching on the shoes were unacceptable. There were three locations on the pair of shoes where the stitching was coming undone. I needed shoes for my baby immediately, so exchanging the shoe for another pair was not an option. Instead, I had to work with the current condition and hope they don't fall apart before he is ready for the next size.

This is our third pair of Stride shoes for an extremely active boy. The sole materials last longer than any other shoe we have bought (all name brands) which usually only last 2 months before he has worn the tread off. The velcro strap also holds better than most. The shoes are light weight and flexible so there is no "wear in" time before they become flexible.

I bought these shoes for my grandson. My fussy daughter-in-law loves them. She commented on how she liked the contrast leather and how easy they will be for my grandson to put on by himself.
