We have two pairs of these. One is normal width and the other is wide. Both boys love them. They have been wearing Stride Rite's Superball shoes for two years and this pair is of the same quality in comfort and look.

I bought this shoe for my 7 year old who loves the look and the super balls on the bottom. However, he has extra wide feet, and they say the are extra wide, but I would say wide at best. He likes them so much, though, that I am letting him wear them every few days with a different shoe in between.

I have been buying Stride Rite shoes for the last 3 years for my son(he's 4 now). Always high-quality, great-looking shoes. My son seems to like them as well. However, this is the first pair of SR tennis shoes where the velcro straps do not seem to be long enough. They are an XW in width, so one would assume that the straps would be made long enough to cover the entire width. I have ordered from shoebuy.com before and will continue to do so in the future. Easy ordering, good customer service, fast shipping.

My 5 year old son wears XW, this pair of XW runs narrower than other stride rite sneakers. I'll have to return them.
