Lace loop broke after 3 days of light wear. Shoe looks very nice and sturdy but cannot recommend because of lace loop breaking. Would of returned but wife threw out box.

I bought these for my 5.5 year old for school. He loves them, they are easy to put on and take off, and he is constantly getting compliments on his shoes. I will definitely be buying another pair as he wears these just about every day now.

My 7-yr-old son has been wearing Striderite since he was an infant, and the most impressive thing to me about their shoes is that he outgrows them long before they wear out, and I'm able to hand them down. This particular shoe is considered "cool" by him and his friends, which is a bonus. He has autism and still has difficulties putting shoes on, but these are easy for him. They have a Velcro closure but don't look "dorky" like some Velcro shoes do. :)
