I often purchase stride rite for my son because of their nice selection of wide width shoes/sneakers/sandals. This is the third set of two pairs in different colors I have purchased. They fit well and are comfortable. They really hold up to a four year old's wear and tear. By the time he outgrows them every 4-5 months they still look close to new. I will purchase them again if his size is available in this style.

I trust the StrideRite brand for children's shoes: my son has worn them since he began to walk. The Slingshot H & Ls fit him well, are easy for him to put on and take off, and look great with any outfit I put him in. In short, they're everything I want in a kid's shoe, and my son likes them as well.

My Grandson wears his new shoes everyday and he says they feel good on his feet. He is 5 years old and we have always had to order his shoes because he has such a wide foot...we can't find his size anywhere. These shoes are always true to their size and width. We have never had to send any back since we figured out the correct size to order.
