Darker color than the online picture

As soon as I took the shoes out of the box I knew the color was off. Perhaps it was just my screen brightness, but the tan shade is much darker than the website. That said, they are still cute and great for hiding dirt. My son is 13 months old and although the shoe store salesman recommended he wear a Size 4 - Stage 3, I felt that was too stiff for a beginning walker. So I went online and bought him a Size 4.5 - Stage 2. They are a bit too large for my son's feet, which I knew would be the case, but the width is good. I am going to keep them for when he gets a little bigger, which will be quite soon! With the rate of growth little kids have, their shoes need to be replaced every 3 months!

I went to the store to buy my son his first pair of Stride Rites and 4 styles I picked they didn't have his size, I wrote down the styles and googeled them when I got home. The ones I wanted ended up $6 cheaper with free shipping. They were at my doorstep in 5 days! The only thing I don't like is that the tongue moves on this shoe and there kinda big, but maybe because hes still crawling, when he's walking in them I think they will be fine.
Very good shoe for an active boy!

The velcro strap opens the shoe up very wide allowing you to put them on easier. My son likes to ball his foot up when you try to put shoes on and these are still very easy to get on and off.

My 16-month-old wore these shoes as his first hare-soled shoe. Prior to these, he had only worn Robeez. He transitioned pretty easily, although he had some trouble adjusting to the added weight on his feet. These shoes are super easy to put on, as my little guy tends to curl his toes. He likes wearing them, and I like that the soles are really bendable. I had a hard time finding shoes that would fit my son's wide foot, but these (I ordered the XW) fit perfectly. He hasn't had them for very long, so I can't comment on the wear and tear yet.
