Stride Rite Riff Great for summer

I used to always buy Crocs for the summer for my son, but as he got older he complained that the Crocs fell off or made him trip. These shoes are great - they can get wet and are easy to clean. They have ventilation through the many openings and are easy to get on and off. My son is not a fan of sandals because he doesn't like his toes exposed, so these are perfect for running around in the summer.

These tough-looking sandals appear to be made to withstand anything little boys can dish-out.

Purchased for my 2-y/o son. We previously had this "XRT" style shoe for him when he turned one and I loved it so much I purchased it again. The Velcro is wonderful, the shoes are easy to throw in the wash after being in the sandbox or getting wet, and they're super stylish. I can't personally attest to how comfortable they are and my 2-y/o doesn't understand comfort, but I can tell that after a few hard wears and some running, that they begin to mold to his feet quite nicely. I assume they are comfortable or he wouldn't want to wear them! I'd definitely buy these shoes again (and probably will!).

Stride Rite SRT Mickey Mouse Not great for wide feet

This is an adorable shoe, well made and durable. However, on my son the straps (top strap especially) was not long enough. The width of the show itself seemed fine, but since the strap was too short there was always velcro exposed that would accumulate lint, hair, etc. If they made the strap a little longer this shoe would be great.

Shoes fit great for my son as with all of the other Stride Rite shoes he has worn over the years. The lights in the straps don't last very long. It has been only a month and one side doesn't work in red. The green only works. I guess the my son didn't give in to the dark side. Master Yoda has taught him well. Seriously, maybe my son and his friends at school just played with it too much.
