I bought these shoes for my 22 month old daughter because I needed something dressy but something that would also protect her little feet because she tends to play rough at times with her cousins. This is my first Stride Rite purchase and I printed the shoe ruler on their website and it determined my daughter is a 7.5, which is no correct. I ordered the 7.5 and had to exchange them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone, but I would also recommend that you buy the size you need. They don't have special sizing which is what I initially thought.

I think the shoe itself is very cute however seems bigger than the size I bought. We actually had my daughter measured at a stride rite retailer and they told us she was a 6.5 wide. We originally ordered that size which was HUGE. We returned that and went with a 6M. Still a little big and my daughter can't wear them because they rub on her ankles and cause blisters.
