Bought several of these First Mates initially in a size 7, then 8, now 9. It's our only shoe! My son wears them for our many hikes, playing, and to Church. When it's cold, he wears socks. We buy several pairs so they're interchangeable since toddlers are always losing things.First Mates available in Wide which we needed as well. These are wonderfully versatile shoes that are quick to put on and really comfortable.
