This is the second year in a row I have purchased this sandal for my son. They are extremely durable and waterproof to boot. The fasten extremely well and have never fallen off. The velcro, believe it or not, lasts longer than the shoe! It has not yet lost its stickiness (which I was initially afraid of). I purchased a pair for next year as well. This is truly the best sandal I have ever come across for my little guy.

I was initially hesitant to buy shoes for my boys over the Internet without having them be able to try them on. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving these shoes. After using a children's sizing chart, I was able to determine the proper size for my children's feet and order the appropriate size shoe. These shoes are great for my boys. The upper straps are comfortable and afford a wide range of fit thanks to the velcro on the straps. My boys are masters at getting shoes off of their feet but surprisingly they keep these sandals on their feet. They must find them comfortable as they get very excited when it is announced that it is time to put on their shoes (I realize that the excitement us more due to the fact that they are going bye-bye, but at least they are not crying because they have to put uncomfortable shoes on their feet!). The inside of the shoe has a texture to the inner sole to help provide some traction for their feet. The bottom of the sole has a little octopus on it - cute for little boys. The color (bright blue and neon yellow) is very appropriate for little boys. I have hand-washed these a few times already and they wash and dry well. The "Wide" size has a green and white tag on the inside while the "regular" width has a black and white tag - great for parents with multiple who have different-width feet. I am very pleased with these sandals and have bought additional pairs in larger sizes. I would not hesitate to recommend them to other parents.

My grandson has wide feet and is very picky about how shoes feel. He loves to wear these.

My son has a difficult time because of his wide, flat feet. Even "wide" shoes tend to hurt his feet, but not these! The strechy material makes it comfortable, but still gives him the support he needs.
