The shoes are cute, but either my 14 month old has really chubby feet or they are narrow shoes. They aren't the greatest for a first time walker, but they aren't the worst either.

she loves loves loves the octopus on the bottom of the shoe. She would wear it everyday if I let her.I liked that the toe was enclosed to protect her toes from bumps near the pool and outdoor sprinkler.
Wears this shoe: near water or pools and just for fun.

My little girl loves the octopus on the sole of these shoes and they work wonderfully at the beach as well as for every day use. I am a big Stride Rite fan and my baby's foot is quite narrow so the medium width fit her great. I did have to order one size up (she normally fits a 5 and the 6 give her just a little room to grow). Great quality shoe.

Okay, again, I purchased thes totally adorable sandles for my most active niece Cordelia and I must say she totally loves them.. My sister tells me that they are super comfortable for my niece who's favorite color these days seems to be pink..One note of added design is the sole of the shoe which was not mentioned when I purchased them for her Easter present, but in full bright color on the bottom sole of the sandles is a hot pink and bright orange octopus which she thinks is just the greatest.These sandles are made of a neophrene material and wash and wear unbelievably well... they are built for tons of active fun...

I have not tried this shoe in the water yet. We are going on a 6 weeks vacation to Venezuela and plan to use the shoes there. So far I tried them on my daughter and the fit great and she walks great on them. She wears size 8 and I got the size 9 and they are not too big.
