We loved these shoes when they first arrived. The inside is very cushy. I imagine they are comfortable - but my son is only 3 so he hasn't said. The bad part about these shoes is that the color has started coming off of the inside of the shoe. This would not be so bad with regular shoes since you do not see the inside but with sandals it is pretty noticeable. He has only been wearing them for a couple of weeks. This is not the first pair of poorly made Stride Rite sandals that we have ever owned. I may start avoiding them.
