I bought this shoe for my granddaughter. (She is two years old.) We wanted a good walking shoe with a classic look that would also be comfortable and sturdy. This shoe is great! It was hard finding a baby shoe in a larger size until I came across this great place, Shoebuy.com. I am glad they offered a size 8 wide. She has worn this shoe just about everyday since we received them. They are perfect for everyday use or for dress up. We love the classy look of these shoes which can be worn by either boys or girls.

Excellent shoe! Highly recommended! This is our second pair of stride rites for my daughter. I bought the Rachael style for my daughter's first shoe and absolutely loved them. This shoe is the best. It is so easy to get on and off and goes with everything my daughter owns. She walks great in them and doesnt mind putting them on at all. I love that they make her seem more like a baby also instead of a shoe you would find a teenager wearing.
Wears this shoe: Mostly whenever we leave the house, but sometimes indoors also

My daughter was learning to walk and I wanted her to wear a shoe that was made out of leather, had good ankle support and a flexible sole. I also wanted a basic design. I chose this design because my daughter is at childcare during the day and the floors are not always carpeted and I wanted to make sure she had a lot of flexibility and grip on the sole. The only concern I have is that the toes wear out (the leather wears) and so I am constantly having use white shoe polish on the toes of the shoes.
