My 5 year old son has worn these sandals for a week and the sandal is already falling apart. Very disappointed in Stride Rite!

My son needed a playground and water sandal. This has been perfect. I was glad I read the other review about the sandal running large. He's about a 2 1/2 to size 3. I ordered the 2 and it fits him great. Hope this helps.

My son will not wear shoes in the summer, except when we go somewhere, because he complains of his feet getting too hot. He was always going outside and playing for hours in his bare feet and getting his feet banged up. I needed a sandal that he could really "play" in (not just walk in), and these have really fit the bill! These are cool (as in they don't make his feet sweat!), and he really enjoys wearing them. He's finding he prefers these sandals to going bare foot (most of the time!). A huge added bonus is that he can go in the water with them, too!I like that they are very comfortable, attractive, and much more supportive than the cheapo sandals so many kids wear. I know he's getting good foot and structural support for his body.My son is 7 and has been wearing only Stride Rite shoes and sandals since he could walk!
