My son takes after me with having wider than normal feet. We love Stride Rite for their variety of width options. These shoes in particular are great, go with almost anything and provide optimal room for his feet.

Bought these for my son as his other shoes fell apart. They are all leather, which is hard to find in his size, and appear to be pretty comfortable for him. Would have been nice if they looked more like a tennis shoe, but the price was right.

Our boys need white (or substantially white) athletic shoes for their PE classes (uniforms) and these are perfect. I like the leather and the all-white option. They have been wearing the same style for years. I think the Stride Rite has good quality. I don't like to try to skimp on shoes, particularly athletic type.

I've bought these type shoes for years and I find they wear well and continue to look good. I buy them because I know I will get my monies worth. My boy is not very hard on shoes, but the older ones were very hard on shoes. I will continue to buy stride rite shoes because they have the wide widths which this younger boy needs.
