My 9 year old has super wide feet. I saw the Stride Rite brand and got 2 pairs, white and black. He loves them. The fit is perfect and they look "cool."

I've bought this shoe before for my son's school uniform. Then tried a few other brands. Had to come back to Stride Rite. They are the only ones that last. They always fit right. The don't wear out, he outgrows them instead. Can't say that about the other brands. I plan to just keep buying this shoe until he outgrows their available sizes. No more shopping around.

Son Joe has a wide foot, so find limited choices in stores, and he often preferred old, worn shoes to new ones. Since this shoe arrived, he wears it all the time.
