I think this is a nice although dressy sandal. I however bought the wrong size and am saving it for next year. My four old had a pair of these sandals when he was two and while they're cute, the leather gets worn if it gets very wet and that's what most preschoolers want to do in the heat.

They are a very durable pair of shoes for a 6 y/o very active boy. He grows out of them before any real wear & tear is noticed on them. I have been buying them for 4 years now.

This is about our 8th (or possibly 10th) time to purchase the Angler from Stride Rite. We have bought them every single year for both of our boys. My only complaint is that the shoes size stops at size 3. This is a super sturdy sandal. They make for nice church shoes or going somewhere nice shoes. The best and sturdiest sandal for the money!

My son loves his new sandals. They are true to size and width. The color is a darker brown which makes them very versatile and can go with just about every outfit. Highly recommend.
