The sole has small pieces of rubber at the outer edges. These will inevitably break off due to lack of lateral support. A better design would include a solid strip around the outside edge to better absorb the extra wear and tear that can be expected for that area of the shoe. On the other hand, the uppers are exactly what I was looking for.

My husband liked this pair of shoes the first day he tried them on.They are comfortable, light, and still looking professional.My only dislike is that they look pretty worn out too soon.
