Product Description (Women's Standing Comfort Pace)
Standing Comfort is specifically designed for professionals who are on the job and on their feet all day. When you're pushed to the limit, Pace keeps you on track. This sporty favorite is light on your feet, yet offers excellent support and cushioning. Unique components prevent the heel from slipping and provide the proper support and control throughout the walking cycle. Padded to the max in the tongue and heel.
This style features an all leather upper with a slip resistant, non marking, innovative tread pattern Grip-Lock outsole. The outsole is ideal in the food service or medical setting where fluids often create dangerous situations.
Features removable insoles that are replaceable, extending the life and comfort of your footwear. The Poly, Poron and Cork insole is soft and shock absorbing, yet remains stable. Drilex insole covers and linings wick away moisture to keep the foot cool and dry.
The extra firm heel counter provides rear foot walking stability and minimizes heel slippage. The steel shank adds support and stability with excellent arch support. The mild rocker bottom allows the foot to move forward during walking. Added depth in the toe box and forefoot allow extra toe room and provide adequate space for use of orthotics.

Practical, not pretty September 23, 2011 Reviewer: SS from Athens, Ohio Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These are not fashionable, but I have plantar fasciitis and stand long hours on concrete surfaces. The shoes at first feel very heavy and stiff - I would recommend wearing them only a few hours at first to let your feet get accustomed to them before trying them for an 8 hour shift. They provide a lot of support and cushion, and don't break down as quickly as most athletic shoes will. Wears this shoe: At work

SATISFIED November 13, 2009 Reviewer: Marj from Iowa Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have back trouble and must be on my feet up to 8 hours a day at times. These shoes did not pinch the toes nor feel ill fit at all. They do look like "duty" shoes of old, but I rank comfort over looks at this time! They do not slip on wet floors and they are light. They are built a bit higher over the instep, so you have support. I like them for work! Wears this shoe: I wear them on my long shifts at work..

Good Support Shoe July 07, 2009 Reviewer: Marie from Churchville, Pa. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I like the shoe because it takes the pressure off my arthritic knees and back. I do think the tongue is a bit too padded and does rub on the ankle area. Otherwise I am pleased with shoe. Wears this shoe: I try to switch off to other sneakers till They get broken in. everyotherday.
