Standing Comfort is specifically designed for professionals who are on the job and on their feet all day. Who wouldn't love the benefits of a stable athletic shoe in a trendy, full-heeled slip on? Cruise offers side-stretch gore for better slip-on and off comfort and fit. You remain calm, cool and comforted.
This style features an all leather upper with a slip resistant, non marking, innovative tread pattern Grip-Lock outsole. The outsole is ideal in the food service or medical setting where fluids often create dangerous situations.
Features removable insoles that are replaceable, extending the life and comfort of your footwear. The Poly, Poron and Cork insole is soft and shock absorbing, yet remains stable. Drilex insole covers and linings wick away moisture to keep the foot cool and dry.
The extra firm heel counter provides rear foot walking stability and minimizes heel slippage. The steel shank adds support and stability with excellent arch support. The mild rocker bottom allows the foot to move forward during walking. Added depth in the toe box and forefoot allow extra toe room and provide adequate space for use of orthotics.

Walk Much?

I ordered a pair of the Women's Cruise shoes for my waitress job. I have been in the military and have worked in health care and in food service, so I'm used to being on my feet. These shoes are quite possibly the most uncomfortable work shoes I've ever purchased. I added extra insoles, and they still are not cushioned enough. My knees and the arches of my feet are killing me, and I have been hobbling around at work like an old lady all weekend. I've been wearing them for about three weeks, so it's not a matter of needing to be broken in, as I initially thought. They are also WAY too *heavy* to waitress in. I feel like I'm dragging lead weights around with me. Their only redeeming feature is that they are very slip resistant. But seeing as I can only walk as fast as an octogenerian in them, slipping is not really a concern.

This shoe is very well constructed and comfortable. Feels like wearing comfortable boots. Purchased in black and I like the way they look. Non-skid bottoms with cushioned insoles. I work as a nurse, on my feet for long hours, and these shoes are comfortable throughout the shift. These shoes are not light-weight but do not feel heavy on my feet. I feel my feet are well protected in these shoes. Will purchase this shoe again.
