As a little boy, I remember seeing older men wearing this shoe and knew one day I too would wear them. At the ripe mature of age 41, this came to pass. I really like the ankle support that is provided when properly laced; not to mention the versatility of formal or casual wear. However, if I had one complaint, it would be that the toe, heel, and sides all matched colorwise so beautifully in cognac on the website picture, but on mine the sides were more brown. At the end of the day, it's a great shoe.
Wears this shoe: At formal, casual outings with slacks or a nice pair of jeans

This shoe is extremely flexible after brief break-in period. Kangaroo has always been an excellent leather for comfort. The Toe and Heal Caps are a heavier leather stamped to resemble crocodile belly. This creates an interesting and appealing affect. I have had many compliments on the finish and shine of the shoe. I am pleased with the fit and feel the whole package is as represented.
