I am a re-enactor of the Old West and these shoes are just the right shoe for a fine gentleman of the 1880s. The fit was good if you know your own size, and once you slip them on you are set for comfort all day, even in new shoes. This is one good shoe!!!

Previously purchased 2 pair of the Madison lace-up boot at a local store and they were the most comfortable dress shoe I had ever worn. They fit just as well and were just as comfortable as any other Stacy Adams shoes I'd ever worn.
