the shoe looks great. howver, it came with a really bad plastic smell. its definitely not what good leather shoes should smell like. it was pungent and smelt like cheap plastic shoes.and it squeaks like plastic shoes! i'm not sure if the squeaking will go away with more wear, but come on! since when do good leather shoes squeak?!also, the shoe was terribly narrow for a regular width. overall, the shoe looks great. make no doubts about that. but it smelt bad, squeaks and is way too narrow. so i guess if you really want it then opt for a broader one!

Superior style, comfortable fit, top quality, gorgeous look. Were it not again, for the laces provided and the notch in the inner heel, these shoes are rated 10 in my book. Beautiful, comfortable shoe. Doesn't make the foot look big & goofy,like some of the newer styles that are so long in the front. We ordered them in brown. The only detail we didn't like was the light colored stitching around the shoe...It made them more casual & less elegant. My husband won't wear them with a suit for that reason. He'll dress up a nice pair of boot cut jeans with them & a nice shirt...But not dressy enough for a good suit.
