I loved this pair of shoes! I wore them all day, every day, 6 days a week, and I am a teacher. After about 9 months, I had insoles put into them. I just threw them away yesterday, 13 months after I bought them as the sides just started coming apart. I am looking to get another pair!

Those are the best shoes I ever had! They combine easy comfort of good sneakers with good looks of nice women's shoes. I was able to walk for hours while otherwise I'd be having feet pain already.Will buy another pair this coming season.

I like this shoes very much. It works perfectly on how it is used to be. I work in a rugged place with no paved road; rather stones and small rocks. For the previous shoes I used, I can feel the bumps on my feet. This shoe does an amazing job protecting my feet. It works in a hot desert. It is stylish and definitely durable. Of course in time, it will wear out. But I will definitely order another one again.

Ok to wear with Ortho Helios Braces

It's SO challenging finding shoes that will accommodate orthopedic braces that are fashionable. I bought these in the bronze. LOVE the color. They are Euro sizes and my size was in the middle of two...I chose the smaller but in a double Wide Width and it turned out to be a good choice. If I had just ordered a wide width, they would have been too narrow for the braces. These are soft, but have good construction with a heel back. The velcro strap is adjustable and a strong grip. I enjoy wearing them with skinny jeans....one of the first shoe styles I've found that are not too clunky looking for a narrow jean- I plan to wear them with maxi peasant skirt/dresses too.

Soooo disappointed!

I bought these shoes because they had 4-5 stars across the board, and I loved the style, the height and everything about them, but I am so disappointed that I have to return them. I tried breaking them in by wearing them around the house on carpet, but I couldn't get from one end of my condo, which is not that large, to the other without it causing pain and red marks across my instep. My instep is a little high, so it may not entirely be the fault of the shoe, though I did notice when I opened them that the leather felt stiff across the top edge. I won't give up on Spring Steps and will try them again when I find another style that I like as much as I did this one.
