I had very severe plantar faciitis, and was desperately looking for sandles that were comfortable. These sandles are extremely light weight and have a great footbed. I just bought my second pair of these shoes and HIGHLY recommend them.

(I am usually a 39, but had to return the first pair for a 40.)Everything about this sandal is great except its footbed lining. It is soft and wonderful, but I feel that I am stepping on grains of sand, which is irritating and sometimes painful--when I walk for a long while. I suspect that something got stuck to the underside of the lining as they were assembled in the factory. (They hurt in different parts in each shoe.) I did not return them, because otherwise I liked them well enough; so I bought a thin insert sole and they are OK. I wish I could walk on their original leather footbed lining though. It was probably just my bad luck.

I am ordering my third pair of these sandals.My first two pairs have taken me many miles across four continents, and although there is still some wear in them, these first two pairs have been retired for local use. Who knows where a fresh, new pair will take me? These sandals are stylish, go with anything and are above all COMFORTABLE! And they weigh next to nothing in my suitcase, although I usually wear them on the plane,too!
