Love the look and the fact that these boots are waterproof leather. They have a nice fuzzy lining to keep feet warm, but they do fit a bit snug in the width and the shaft size is definitely not as posted. It is noted that the circumference is 16" (in my size) but these are only about 13" so the fit was very snug at the top. The stretch portion isn't enough to even make 16". After walking in them for some distance, the footbed is not very cushioned to the point of rather firm. Hoping they'll break in a bit. So if you're depending on a bit wider shaft to either tuck or for comfort - use caution. For someone with average calves they would be great and would definitely get for warmth and waterproof walking.

After searching and trying many different styles of boot I finally found a fantastic everyday, warm, waterproof, stylish and comfy boot. I wear these all day in work, out on the town, out in the snow and they've been great. They're nice and lightweight and I highly recommend these. I just may buy another pair in brown.

If the shoe fits, buy it! I have wide feet and have a difficult time finding stylish footwear. This boot has plenty of room in the toebox even with orthotics inserted. Soft leather. Comfortable. Well-made.

It is nearly impossible to find well made RED ankle length leather boots that don't have a 4 inch or higher heel and are a practical price. Oh, you find them, but they are always sold out. That was the case when I tried to buy this exact boot last year. Browsed again a few weeks ago and my size was again available so ordered and hoped they would fit. I was slightly disappointed in the color as the picture shows a pretty vivid red, but the actual color is more of a muted burgundy/red. Tried them on and the fit was perfect, heel is a very comfortable, yet fashionable height. Details of side ruching with tie are exact and leather seems of good quality. Loved the sturdy rubber sole (although it does have a somewhat "new tire" smell when you are in the car with the heat on). Overall, incredibly comfortable and stylish.
