This is my third pair of Ginas. The shoe is very comfortable, but I have one complaint: the buckles on the shoes are of very poor quality, and I have had to have them replaced on the other two pairs I own. On those, the buckles kept tearing off. On this latest pair has buckle tongues that are too short to properly reach the holes, and the straps keep coming loose. I hope Spring Step will realize that saving a few cents on buckles may be losing them their customers.

After much research, I bought these shoes for 5 hours of standing volunteer work that I do each Saturday.(A white, closed-toe, shoe with white soles is required.) I was pleased to learn that the shoes were delivered a day before the scheduled date, but was disappointed with the fit. I ordered these shoes becasue I have a high instep and these looked like they would not be hot, would adjust for my instep, and be somewhat attractive peeking out from the hem of my white dress. I wear anywhere from a 7 to a 9 (depending upon the shoe) and my heel was definitely hanging over the edge of this one. Since it seemed otherwise comfortable I planned to sell the shoes to any of the other 20, or so, women on my shift. I barely got them out of the box when one of the supervisors spotted them and offered to buy them. She normally wears a wide 7 or a regular 7 1/2. These were the size 38s (7 1/2 to 8). The next week I asked her how they were and she was very pleased with them. I am about to leave for my shift, but when I return tonight I will be placing another order for this shoe either a half size or a full size larger. By-the-way, the woman who now owns the original pair has been receiving a number of compliments on them.
Wears this shoe: Saturdays, for volunteer work, from about 4pm to 9pm.
