I purchased this boot for my 86 yr. old mother-in-law whose feet swell occasionally and who had trouble putting on her old boots. She finds the velcro fastening gives her some adjustability in the fit that comes in very handy, and she also finds them very easy to put on. In addition, she really liked the styling and appearance of the boot, and reports that they are comfortable and warm.

I have difficulty finding a size 5 1/2 in shoes or boots in a style that I like. This boot runs larger than size ordered--boots are useable, but I was disappointed about the sizing. I like the style and how easy they are to put on and take off. However, I was very disappointed in how slippery these boots are for walking through snow and slop. There just is not any traction. If I could return the boots after using, I would return them for this reason.

I bought the boot for my 82 year old mother for Christmas. It was a perfect fit, she felt comfortable walking in them and the best feature was the over-lap velcro closure. My mother's feet have a tendency to swell and she has arthritis in her feet. The boots are easy to get into and with little effort.
