Spring Step sandals are my choice because they have cushioning and a defined arch area instead of being hard and flat. I can stand or walk for quite some time. I do need a narrow size so always order a style with the velcro straps. I've had several pairs of Spring Steps and still have them, they wear well---never been sorry I purchased them.
Wears this shoe: With summer capris both casual and a little dressy.

I first saw this shoe on a woman on a cruise I'd just taken. I thought the shoe was good-looking and, after complimenting the woman, inquired about the brand. I thought they looked something like my comfy Mephistos, but with a back strap. So, I purchased the Sky, not knowing if they'd be wide enough, since I really wear a "C" width, and have a bunion on my left foot, too. Well, the olive nubuck is forgiving, and the straps hit my foot at the appropriate angle, causing me no pain, just smiles. The arch is adequate, although not as high as on my Mephisto sandals. These were a good purchase for me.

When looking at the picture, you get the impression that 2 large bands cover your foot like some geriatric shoes would, but they look much smaller in reality and are discreetly elegant. I managed to break in the toe area after wearing them 6 or 7 times. Your heel is well cushioned for a 2-inch height. Nice shoes.

I like this shoe very much. I have feet problems so the soft leather and good arch support does my feet wonders. Not only are these shoes super cute, they are also very comfortable. I wish spring step would make them in more colors (darker brown, white, deep red...).
