This flexible walking shoe provides superb forefoot and heel cushioning. The patented Wave Spring® technology is located in the heel (one spring) and forefoot (two springs) for maximum impact absorption and energy return that will not break down over the life of the shoe. The upper provides a generous fit for use with orthotics. An all purpose walking shoe designed for those who prefer a shoe that provides comfort with maximum cushioning benefits to aid in the reduction of fatigue and overuse related to walking issues. This technique provides maximum cushioning benefits for the ultimate in comfort and cushioning.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I bought it because it was rated #1 for outdoor walking for women with narrow heels and bunions. They're great with a pair of thick socks.

I bought a pair of these for my wife and she loves them. She is a little bit heavy and these give her a lot of support and cushioning. She tells me she can walk long distances with no problems and that these shoes are the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn. She even works out in them at the gym for aerobics but there are probably better shoes for that. I have two pairs of the the men's version (black and white) and love them too. The shoe comes in different widths so be sure to try more than one width for best sizing.

I have very bad feet and need a lot of cushioning. I bought these shoes hoping with the springs, I would see a noticeable comfort. Not so. I will only be able to wear them when I won't be doing a lot of walking or standing. I have bought so many types of shoes...with very little relief.
