Turns out they are the least comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Hard rubber soles/sides and rough canvas = blisters & foot pain. It feels like wearing a hard cast on my feet. I've had them for months and I try to wear them frequently, hoping they will get broken in and more comfortable but still just as painful as the day I bought them. They are less painful with socks but these really aren't the kind of shoes to wear with socks unless you're trying to look like an idiot. One positive - they do look cool.

I like the madras-like pattern and the sole, which isn't slippery. I only wish the canvas was a little thicker. Otherwise, I am happy with these.

I love this type of shoe and wear them year round. I have had several sperrys in white and the plaid pattern. I miss the Yellow and Navy plaid. The new pattern is perfect for all seasons so I have three pairs to last me for a while.

Having never purchased anyhting from Shoebuy before, I was a little hesitant about buying from them as I had not heard about them before. But my fears were unfounded. Purchased this shoe for my 18 year old (his request) but in a solid gray color. Was very pleased with the quality and look of the shoe. My son also said that the shoes were extremely comfortable.
