I bought these shoes for my teenage daughter. She has worn them 1 time. She had blisters on both heels and on the side of one foot. She has tried wearing something on her heels to prevent the blisters, but it doesn't stay on.

The cross strap holds the shoes firm and comfortably. There is no need for breaking these shoes in. They were good for all day wear on day one.

I spend most of the summer on our sailboat. I wanted a different Sperry. This is easy to slip on and has great deck grip. Since the insole is canvas it does tend to get warm. It's a pretty looking alternative to the traditional boat shoe, but a little sweaty.
