I haven't bought a slip on like the Venetian before. I ordered the size I usually wear, and it was too large, by at least what I thought was a half-size. After returning the first order and getting half-size smaller, the new pair fit better, but were still a little too roomy. With two weeks already invested in waiting, I kept the second pair.I suspect a half-size smaller would probably be too small. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've opted for a different type of shoe altogether.The annoying little flap in the back is also a part of why these shoes are getting dinged. I don't know what the flaps are supposed to do (other than be an irritant), but they arrive in the "down/in" position. This created an awful rub at the worst part of the heel. Adjusting them to the "up/out" position helps one problem, but contributes to the sizing problem.I'd save the aggravation and get a different pair of shoes if I had it to do over again.
