Having worn my first pair of Top-Siders around 1960 I had no qualms about purchasing these boots. I've tried them on and only worn them about the house. I purchased them to wear on board an Alaskan fishing charter boat when we go fishing out of Seward. The sole's ability to provide excellent footing on wet decks is well known among boaters. The insole is also very comfortable for a rubber boot. It is not an insulated boot so don't expect it to be for extremely cold weather. I'll be wearing heavy wool boot sox for both added comfort and warmth. Also I have a narrow (B Width) foot and this provides a more snug fit that I like.

I ordered these rubber boots for my husband. He really likes them because they are lite weight and very comfortable. He added a strap to the back of the boots to make them easy to pull on. They are nice looking and he wears them every where.

Being as it's April in California right now I've not had the opportunity to wear these much in wet weather. I have tried them on and walked around the house a bit and they are more comfortable than I expected. They are also just right for my size 8.5 foot (I bought a 9), so they seem to run a wee bit small for their projected size.
