My son is 10 years old and I've found that there are very few shoes available in his size. There's a big gap between the largest kids size and the smallest men sizes available.I was thrilled to find that this shoe comes in the small men sizes. It works without socks in the summer for church and dinners out, and will work equally well with socks in the fall with his school uniform.They're comfortable too, so, an all-around fantastic shoe!

I bought this shoe for my son to wear on chapel day at school. It looks nicer than a tennis shoe but it is still very comfortable, and my son likes it too!
Wears this shoe: On occasions when my son needs something nicer than tennnis shoes.

I bought this shoe because I needed a dressy shoe for my son's first piano recital. It is hard to buy shoes for him, as he is in kindergarten, and wears a 3 1/2 W. I was pleased with the shoes when we received them in the mail, the looked quite nice, despite the velcro closure (a plus as my son has not learned laces yet). He did not complain of nay discpomfort when wearing them either. My only complaint about the shoes was the price, but as I needed the shoes fast, I could not spend a lot of time looking for a bargain.
Wears this shoe: My son wears it on occasoins that call for more formal dress.

This is the second pair of these I have purchased for my son. He wore the last ones all the time and they still looked great a year later! The shoes are comfortable - he never complains about wearing them and you can't beat the style and versatility. I hope they make these big enough for him to wear to middle school too!
