I will start off by saying that I am overall pleased with the purchase. I would recommend that you break them in well before attempting to wear them barefooted. Also, I'm not sure if mine were defective, but they started squeaking after only a week. There are a few minor unexpected down points, but overall it is a good shoe.

I have been having foot problems the past few years and comfort is primary. My last pair of Sperry deck shoes finally gave up. These new Sperry top siders are so comfortable I think I'll wear them all the time. They are definitly non-skid on when on my sailboat. I have not had them wet yet but don't think I will change my opinion of the comfort or be disapointed. Thanks for such a good shoe.

This is a great shoe - lightweight and comfortable but it runs smaller than marked - most Sperry shoes do. Always buy a half size larger than you wear. I bought the wide which I wear - Sperry needs to add more wide shoes to their lineup.
